And the winner of the most unique band name on the Outer Banks is….Frozen Head and the Squirrels. The band is 13 years old, the project of lead singer and guitarist Broughton Aycock. With Jacob Richardson on drums and Stephan Carbocci on bass. The surf rock band specializes in 60’s psychedelic covers but they can play anything. The band exudes energy and you’ll feel it in this video, as they rock out to a classic surf tune on the steps of the Dare County Arts Council.
